ANTRICAN, JoAnn, owner of Hilltop Muffler Shop and A&A Mustang of Oak Ridge, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She and her son James, have operated the businesses for the last 18 years, after the death of her husband, Joe Antrican. They started the business in 1973. JoAnn loved to attend Mustang shows and make Mustang jewelry to sell at the shows. She also liked to read and travel with friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughters who were the loves of her life. JoAnn was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Vera Burdette; her husband, Joe Antrican; and her son-in-law, William (Bill) Starnes. She is survived by her son, James Antrican and wife, Melanie of Powell; daughter, Julia Starnes of Powell; granddaughters, Michelle Ray, Tabatha Finney and Jamie LeeAnn Antrican, all of Powell; grandson, Chase Harvey and wife, Kyle of Clinton; great-granddaughters, Riley Finney, Zoey Finney, Madison Ray and Hanna Harvey; sister, Brenda Light and husband, Wayne, all of Knoxville; nephew, Dwayne Moses; niece, Melissa Moses; great-niece, Kyla Douglas; two aunts, Edna Rainwater and Jo Cogswell; several cousins and special friends, Diana and Naomi. JoAnn was a very loving mother, grandma, sister and friend. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge, TN at 1:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to send flowers may send them to the Memorial Park on Bethel Valley Road.
