BAILEY, Ronald M. “Ron”, 50 of Eagle River, Alaska formerly of the Miami Valley, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack Sunday, June 5, 2011. He is preceded in death by his father William Bailey Sr., May 12, 2011, his mother Clara (nee Frieszell) Bailey, May 14, 2000, and sister Denise Bishop, September 2010. Ron is survived by his daughter Courtney D. Bailey of IN, three brothers Billy Bailey Jr. of Sidney, Tom Bailey, Kenny Bailey and his fiancé Darlene Brown all of Piqua, half brother and sister-in-law John and Candy Sherman of Middletown, step-mother Ginny Bailey of Clayton, several nieces and nephews, Aunt Margie Baroff of Sidney, Uncle Jim Story of Oakwood. Ron was a lifelong law enforcement officer working for: Miami Twp. Police, Miami County Deputy Sheriff, US Marshall Service at Monsanto/Mound Lab, most recently with Homeland Security in Anchorage, AK, and was the VP of United Government Security Officers of America Local #46, he was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals Fan . Ronald’s family will receive friends at the Victory Christian Church, 2275 South Patterson Boulevard, Kettering, Ohio 45409, Saturday, July 9, 2011 starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a service of remembrance at 10:30 AM with Pastor Gary Trenium presiding. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 124 North Jefferson Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420 in memory of Ron.
