Born in Pottstown she was the daughter of the late Edna M. (Garber) and Frank Vroman
Fay worked the counter at the former Bittenbender Food Market, Bechtelsville. She last worked as a clerk at Kennedy Ford.
She was a member of the Boyertown Senior Center and a former member of the ladies auxiliary of Earl Township Fire Company
Fay loved the band called Majestics and she was a “Sunshine Girl.”
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly R. Erkert of Fleetwood and Patricia Babel of Birdsboro; two sons Kenneth A., husband of Bonnie L. Babel of Pottstown and Randy S., husband of Kimberly A. Babel of Boyertown; two sisters, Ruth “Boots” Fry of Shillington and Sandy Mutter of Bechtelsville; three brothers, Frank “Pete” Vroman of Fleetwood, Paul Vroman of Boyertown and Tommy Vroman of Birdsboro; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Fay was predeceased by a son, Leonard M. Babel; a grandson John Richard Smith and a sister Marge Young.
Memorial services will be 11a.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Reverend Burlington B. Latshaw, III will officiate.
Relatives and friends will be received between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be in Huff’s Union Cemetery, Hereford Township, Berks County.
