Maudie Angus, 91, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away November 24, 2011. Funeral Service for Mrs. Angus will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 98th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, in Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, MO. Friends may call from 2-3 Tuesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice or VA Hospital Veteran Canteen.
Maudie was born July 4, 1920 in Union City, Missouri. She was a LPN working at Bethany Hospital, VA Hospital in Leavenworth and California, and later, retired in California after many years of nursing.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Cloe “Joe” Angus; daughter: Elizabeth Parrish and son: Max Prosise.
Survivors include her children: Martha Koller of Kansas City, Kansas, Paul Prosise and wife Willa of Hawaii, Joseph Tindall and wife Julie of Semi Valley, California, Steve Parrish and wife Nancey of Kansas City, Kansas and Garry Angus and wife Karen of McMinnville, Oregon; 16 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren.
