James Russel “Rusty” Alexander IV – born on May 5, 1993 in Mobile, AL, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012. He lived in Mobile until the age of 7 when he and his family moved across the bay to live in Daphne, AL. He attended Little Flower and Christ the King Catholic Schools. After grade school, he attended Daphne High School where he graduated with a 3.0 grade point average. He earned a Presidential Scholarship to the University of South Alabama and was preparing to start his sophomore year majoring in Chemical Engineering. Rusty, a sweet, talented, loving and giving young man will be greatly missed by his father and mother, Russel Alexander III and Cammie Alexander; his sister, Caitlyn Alexander; his grandmothers, Evelyn Cofield of Axis, AL and Dorothy Alexander of Mobile; his aunts, Marsha Lewis and Christy Cofield of Irvine, CA; and his aunt Keiko, uncle Steven and cousin Kyler Alexander all of Daphne. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Little Flower Catholic Church on Monday, August 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
