Rodney Raymond Bieker, 74, of Fort Smith went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2012. He was born May 15, 1938 in Fort Smith to Otto Joseph and Allene Schweppenstedde Bieker. He was a retired Electrician and member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Evelyn of the home; three daughters, Florence “Flo” & husband Billy Bartley of Van Buren, Rhonda & husband Bud West of Fort Smith, and Connie Bieker of Fort Smith; three sons, Raymond & wife Jennifer Bieker of Greenwood, Jack & wife Betty Bieker of Fort Smith, and Lewis “Danny” Bieker of Fort Smith, and Kenneth “Pudge” Baker who he thought of as a son for 45 years; four brothers, Pat and wife Joan Bieker of Augusta, GA., Charlie and wife Jane of Fort Smith, Richard and wife Josephine Bieker of Fort Smith and Joe Bieker of Greenwood; two sisters, Cecilia “Tootz” and husband James Young of Fort Smith, and Janice and husband Moody Ramey of Muldrow, OK; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Robert Bieker and one grandson Kyle Bieker.
Rosary will be said on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel and Mass will be said on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 1:00 PM in St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy and Jonathan West, Derek Duncan, Patrick Manes, Zachary Bartley, and Jack Bieker, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Goins, Daniel Bieker, Yoni Guerra, and Randall Bieker.
The family will greet friends from 3:30 – 5:00 PM following the Rosary in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel
