Frank L. Catanese Jr., 83, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at his home surrounded by his children. Frank was born in Centerville, Indiana on May 15, 1929 to the late Frank L. and Lilly (Dillbeck) Catanese. He graduated from Richmond High School. Frank worked for American Tobacco Company as a district sales manager for 25 years, then worked at McDonald's restaurant as a manager for 15 years and retired from Enterprise Car Rental after 7 years of service. Frank served in the United States Army and Air Force. He enjoyed racing, NASCAR, watching old movies and was an avid IU basketball fan. Frank is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Keith) Dallas and Elizabeth Ann Gibbs; son, Frank "Trey" (Theresa) Catanese III all of Evansville, IN; sister, Martha (Tom) Fisher of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Nicole Peaugh, Angel Robinson (Jerry), Brandi Geach (Ben), Anthony Catanese (Donna), Cori Walton (Joe), Catie Catanese; great-grandchildren, Brittney Peaugh, Natalie Travis, Jessica Robinson, April Robinson, Zaine Dallas, Faith Geach, Blake Walton, Carter Walton, J.D. Walton, Vinny Catanese and Regina Catanese; great- great granddaughter, Jasmine Gibson, faithful companion, his dog, Lucky. Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Joyce (Phenis) Catanese; brothers, Pete and Joseph Catanese and sisters, Esther Lentz and Mary Lou Fisher. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, Indiana 47711 with Tom Hubachek (Chaplain of Heritage Hospice) officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 11:00 AM until service time on Wednesday.
