In January 1991, he was recalled to active service for Operation Desert Storm until he retired in 1993. Jerry was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Abilene, Texas and achieved the position of 32nd Degree Master Mason.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Otis Fuller of Rayville, Louisiana (1945); daughter Stacy Fuller of Abilene, Texas in 2007; and granddaughter, Victoria Robb of Dover, Ohio in 2008.
