Eileen was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She retired from Roseville Public Schools as a school teacher and was a member of Moriah Baptist Church in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Trippler; daughters, Diane Phillips and Trudy Daffron; parents, Margaret and Arthur Boyden, Sr.; and brother, Arthur Boyden, Jr.
Surviving are her daughters, Penny Gray-Davis and husband, Richard and Beth DeCook; grandchildren, Teri Daffron, Robert (Steph) Harper, Lee (Mattie) Gray, Jennifer (Dave) Gadsby and Jack (Anita) Harper; 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be at 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. There will not be any visitation prior to the burial.
