Mr. Neill Brammar, age 90, passed away Sunday at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility surrounded by his family. He was a native of St. Cloud, Florida but had lived in Statesboro since 1965. He was a graduate of the University of Florida with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Veteran of WWII having served in the United States Navy. Mr. Brammar retired from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a Bank Examiner after serving 33 years and then worked for Sea Island Bank for 11 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 90, the V.F.W. and the N.A.R.F.E. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dan Williams Sunday School class. Mr. Brammar was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Harriet Brammar and his brother Charles H. Brammar.
Survivors include his wife Sue Fagler Brammar of Statesboro; sons Charles S. Brammar of Statesboro, and Glenn (Leslie) Brammar of Statesboro; sister-in-law Dot Fagler of Swainsboro; Brothers-in-law ,Johnny (Sarah) Fagler of Swainsboro and Jerry (Ruby) Fagler of Swainsboro; and grandchildren, Aubrey (Jeremy) Southall of Atlanta and Mary Beth Brammar of Statesboro.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Cason officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Fagler, Stuart Fagler, Mike Fagler, Jeremy Southall, Robbie Franklin, and Ty Fagler.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Dan Williams Sunday School Class and the Statesboro United Methodist Men.
Graveside Services will be at 3:00pm Wednesday in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.
