Daniel L. Inman, Jr., 89, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Dallas. Dan was born on April 25, 1924 in Graham, Texas to Daniel Luther Inman and Minnie Davis Inman. He graduated from Graham High School and enlisted in the Marine Corps. He served during WWII in the South Pacific. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1950 with a Business degree, and had a successful career with Long Star Company. After retiring, Dan moved to his cattle ranch near Graham, Texas, and also traveled around the world.
He was predeceased by his sisters Eloise Inman and Martha McMath, and brother, George Inman. He was also predeceased by Betty Sanders Inman, his wife of 40 years, and Gail Huff Inman, his second wife.
He is survived by his daughter, Dana Weissgarber, son, Trey Inman, and grandsons, Andrew Weissgarber and Zachary Weissgarber.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Northwest Highway Chapel of Sparkman Hillcrest.
