Everett Franklin (Frank) Fisher
Everett Franklin “Frank” Fisher, 76, passed away Wednesday January 15, 2014 at Avante of Waynesboro. He was born in Waynesboro and was a son of the late Everett Newton and Vergie (McDaniel) Fisher as the local baby derby winner on January 1, 1938. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary Kirby Fisher; a brother, Carl Fisher; a sister Peggy Miller; three step-brothers and two step-sisters. He was the last surviving of his immediate family.
Mr. Fisher is survived by two step sisters, Margaret Fisher Fry and Maxine Fisher Templeton, both of Waynesboro; a number of nieces, nephews, step nieces, step nephews; and special friend Violet Marshall of Waynesboro. He is also survived by many friends in Arcadia, Florida where he previously lived.
At his request, his body will be cremated and there will be no services.
