Valeria Beatrice (Roberto) Allen

She was born March 29, 1921, in New Milford, Ohio, to parents Americo and Anna (Laurito) Roberto. Valeria was devoted to her family. She enjoyed hosting large family dinners, especially around the holidays. She loved country music and dancing in her earlier years.

Valeria is survived by her sons: Edward (Waltraut) Allen, Robert (Dianne) Allen, and Larry (Joan) Allen, her 5 grandchildren, her 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her siblings: Mabel (Dom) Lorelli, Nick Roberto, Laura Marek, and Mary Ellen (Roland “Pete”) Peterson.

Valeria was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence “Slim” Allen, her brothers Spartico Roberto, James Roberto, and Marcus Roberto, and her sister Elizabeth Jedlicka.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
