Peggy Lou Nichols

Peggy Stout Nichols, 84, Born March 25, 1933 in Memphis, TN. Died on March 12, 2018 at Methodist Hospice Memphis. She was preceded by her parents William and Louise Stout, brothers Bill and Gene Stout, sister Beverly Norman. Survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of over 66 years Edmund (Jerry) Nichols, Sr., Two children; Deborah Michael (Dan) and Jerry Jr. (Mary). Four grandchildren, Jennifer Swinehart (Jack), Matthew Michael (Ali), Lindsay Massey (John) and Jay Nichols (Marie). Five great-grandchildren, Lauren Swinehart, Cora Michael, Evan Nichols, Noah Nichols and Mia Massey. She was a homemaker and member of St. James Angelican Church Memphis. There will be a graveside service in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 11:00am on Saturday, at 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133. Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens has charge of services. Family requests any memorials be made to St. Jude Hospital Memphis or the charity of donor’s choice.
