Jeff Taylor Shields

Jeff T. Shields, 60, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Hinkle Hospice House in Davidson County.

Jeff was born in Fairfax, VA August 21, 1957a son of Jack and Peggy Shields. He attended Westchester Baptist Church. He retired from Lorillard Tobacco in Greensboro. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Jack Shields.

He is survived by his mother Peggy Shields, a brother David (Cathy) Shields and a niece Dawn (Jayson) Poole.

A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held Wednesday, March 21, at 2 PM at Jersey Baptist Church in Linwood by Rev. Eric Peacock. Family visitation will be in the multi-purpose room following the burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hinkle Hospice House at HospiceOfDavidson.org.
