Carlos Olivas Marquez

He was born in Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico on July 8, 1942 to Valentine and Guadalupe Gonzalez. Carlos migrated from Mexico to San Pedro, California when he was 17 years old until moving to Woodlake, California in 1944. He marred Esperanza Medina in 1965. Carlos worked for over 40 years as a farm laborer.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Esperanza Medina Marquez; his children, Cesar M. Marquez, Roberto M. Marquez, Raul M. Marquez and Maria Rosalba Marquea-Riley; his brothers Francisco Lopez, Mario Marquez, and Jesus Marquez and his grandchildren Manuel Marquez, Carlos Marquez, Isabell S. Riley and Anthony Marquez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 3 - 6 pm with praying of the Rosary beginning at 6 pm at Miller Memorial Chapel, 134 Cypress Street in Woodlake, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 9 a.m. at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 599 N. Valencia Blvd in Woodlake, CA. Burial will follow at Woodlake Public Cemetery.
