Ima Jean Tharpe, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ima was born in North Carolina to the late Thurston Eugene and Allean VanLandingham Tharpe. She retired as a claims clerk for Cigna Insurance. Ima was a member of Cherokee Methodist Church and was an avid sports fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Macon Whoopee. She was a caregiver to many.

Those left to cherish her memory are her cousin, Pat (Jim) Mueller of Macon; niece, Diane Creech of Boca Raton, FL and nephew, Ricky Maher of Plantation, FL.
