Paula Minerva "Mine" Munoz died on April 12, 2018 at the Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas at the age of 95. Ms. Munoz was born in Cuevitas, Texas on November 5, 1922 to her parents, Arcadio Munoz Garza and Paula Barrera de Munoz. Ms. Munoz attended school in Cuevitas. When her family moved to Hebbronville, Texas, Ms. Munoz attended Little Flower School with the Catholic sisters who were in Hebbronville at the time. She completed her education and graduated from Hebbronville High School in the early 1940's. Ms. Munoz was a patient, loving, and caring person with a sense of humor. Praying for family and service to others was her life long goal. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jaime (Hortencia "Tencha"), Daniel, Rodolfo (Luisa), Arcadio "Tito" (Aminta) and her sisters, Angelita (Jose "Chema" Perez) and Herlinda (Patricio "Ticho" Garza), as well as several nephews and nieces.
Ms. Munoz is survived by her youngest brother, Edmundo (Olivia) Munoz of Hebbronville, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Ms. Munoz will be buried at the Hebbronville Catholic Cemetery on April 16, 2018 following a Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
