Ruth A. Tomb, 92, of Security, Colorado, passed away April 24, 2018. She was born in Marlboro, Massachusetts on February 10, 1926. Ruth A. Tomb graduated from Framingham High School. She was married to Everett H. Tomb Jr. on May 4, 1947.
Ruth worked as a retail sales manager for the Army and Air Force Exchange. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, a volunteer at the USOC, and a volunteer at the senior center in Fountain, Colorado. She had a passion for volunteering and the senior travel club.
Ruth is survived by her children Robert J. Tomb (Karen Tomb) and Robin A. Baker (Jody Baker); her grandchildren Robert Tomb Jr., Stephan E. Tomb, Tina Tomb, Todd Gregor, and Shane Baker; 20 great grandchildren; and Bandit her furry best friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Helen, and grandson Bryan Gregor.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am, May 8, 2018, at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church.
