Donald E. Nordness

Age 95, of Brooklyn Center

Passed away April 28, 2018

Preceded in death by his Parents, Erling and Ina; Son, Gary; Grandchildren, David and Derek; Brother, Bill; First Wife, Mary Ellen.

Survived by his Wife, Mary Nordness; Children, Nancy Lee Murray, Janice (Tim) Brakefield, Debra Hofmann, Dean (Joelle) Nordness, William (Cassy) Nordness; 13 Grandchildren; many Great-grandchildren; Brother, Thomas (Dixie) Nordness; further survived by Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives and Friends.

Donald was a member of the Minneapolis USBC Hall of Fame. Retired from Burlington Northern Railroad after 42 years. Served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, successfully completing 35 bombing missions.

Visitation one hour prior to the service.
