Irene Mae Pierce

She was born on October 9, 1920 in Hamilton, the daughter of William and Ivy (Hileman) Arnold. Irene attended Oxford Schools. On November 4, 1940, she married Burdette Pierce in Eaton. He passed away in 1999. Irene was the proud owner of Irene’s Donut Shop, and worked there for many years before retiring. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Irene enjoyed working outside in the yard, and she loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Bryant and Patricia Martin; five grandchildren, Gina, Craig, Chris, Michael, Wayne; 11 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Irene was preceded in death by husband, her siblings Charles and Martha, and her parents. Visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 1pm with Rev. Randy Stearns officiating. Private burial at College Corner Cemetery. The family suggest contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
