Carolyn Bertram Higgins passed away April 29, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. She was born on April 13, 1935 and raised in Prattville, Alabama. She was a graduate of Auburn University. She is survived by her sons Ben and Ed Higgins; daughter- in-law Julie Higgins; granddaughters Cheyenne Higgins and Ashlee Kay; brother-in-law Erman Evans; nephew Dr. Ken Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband Col. Bennie E. Higgins Jr.; Sister Sarah Evans and niece Elaine Evans. Carolyn was an active member of the Pine Castle United Methodist Church.

A Graveside Service will be held in Montgomery, Alabama on May 9, 2018 at 11:00 Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens.
