Nancy was born April 24, 1945 in Austin to Clarence Follett, and Jane Follett. She graduated from McCallum High School in 1963, and completed her associates at Durham’s Business School. She married William N. (Bill) Jones Jr on August 12, 1967.
After graduating business school, Nancy began working for the State Comptroller of Public Accounts, and retired in 1993. Nancy was active in the Red Hat Society, and River City Rods along side her husband. Nancy will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her and sharing her life. Her never ending love and support of others, selflessness, strength, compassion, and sense of humor will forever be remembered.
Proceeding her in death are her mother and father, and husband. Nancy is survived by her loving daughter, Kasey Renee Halbert, and husband, Jared James Halbert; along with two adoring grandchildren; granddaughter, Payton, and grandson, Nathan, and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with Kirk Wooldridge officiating. Burial to follow in Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
Serving as pallbearers are Jared Halbert, James Halbert, Robert Lemmond, George Escamilla, George Escamilla Jr., Emiliano Escamilla.
