Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Ernest T. and Flora (Duclos) Bradshaw, she was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1947. She attended the former Thibodeau Business School where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business Management.
Mrs. Bridge was a member of the Fall River Jaycee’s, the Seekonk Women’s Club and the Durfee Classy Ladies Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa B. Phillips and her husband, Troy of Seekonk. Two grandchildren, Robbie Bridge Thorp and Torrin Erik Thorp, two step-grandchildren, Anna May Phillips and Ahanu John Phillips. Two nieces, Cheryl Aguiar of Rehoboth and Dayle Augustine of Dighton, one nephew, Robert S. Bradshaw of Dighton, many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved brother, Robert H. Bradshaw. Mrs. Bridge was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 81 Warren Avenue, East Providence, RI. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
