Lorraine Thompson passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the age of 83. She was the loving wife of the late John “Doc” Thompson for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Gary Thompson. She will be greatly missed by her children Doreen (Peter) Hendrickson, Carleen Narkus, Janeen Rice, and Loreen (Ron) Ludeman. Her daughter-in-law Jan Thompson. Her dear grandchildren Erin (Rob), Bryan (Amy), David (Nicole), Kyle (Mariana), Scott, Katie, Shane, and T.J. Her cherished great grandchildren Nicholas, Anthony, Andrew, Jake, Bianca, Ben, Vincent, Isabella, Fiona, and Baby Ludeman on the way. She will also be missed by her furry companion Marty.
Lorraine’s two passions were her flower beds and her “No Name Car Club” that she spent time with on Thursday and Saturday evenings. She enjoyed her time spent tending to her gardens and the friends she made, but nothing compared to the love that she had for her family.
A Memorial Service for Lorraine will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:30am at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road in Clinton Township, MI. Friends may visit the funeral home beginning at 10am on Thursday.
