Born August 2, 1928, in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Pearlie E. Miller and Clara Edna Burns Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn L. Seitz; stepson, Roger Martin; and brother, Robert Miller.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 18 years, Virgil G. Martin of Hickory, NC; stepdaughters, Penny Martin of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Becky Martin of Newton, NC; brother, Jesse Miller of FL; sisters, Marie M. Johnson and Frances (Polly) Mull, both of FL.
The family will have a viewing from 10:30a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory, with Pastor Bert Dixon officiating.
