Born in Pottstown he was the last surviving son of Anna (Shollenberger) and Joseph L. Eachus.
Jack was an Auto Mechanic for many years before transitioning into industrial maintenance. Jack worked at Kooly-Kupp, Wagner Electric and Reading Hospital retiring in 1996 as the Mechanical Shop Chief.
He served in the Army Reserve.
Jack was an ASE certified mechanic entering their Hall of Fame in 1987, a member of the Hartland Vintage Thunder Club of America and the Crown Victoria Ford Association.
He is survived by his daughters, Connie wife of Mark Hile of Boyertown. Linda M. wife of Randy Mohr of New Albany and Nancy M. Wife of Brian Henry of Boyertown. Sister Shirley Girvin in Myerstown. Jack is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.He is predeceased by his son Ralph Eachus.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boyertown Museum of Historical Vehicles.
