Travis Steward, 79, of Anniston, passed away Monday, June 4, at RMC of Anniston. He is survived by his wife of 60+ years, Joyce Steward; daughter Sheila (Rodney) Abrams of Alexandria; sons Dennis Steward of Anniston and Kevin Steward of Wellington. He was PaPa to nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Bobbie (John) Meads and brother John (Karen) Steward; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Steward was a cabinet builder by trade and worked at several local cabinet shops. He was an avid Alabama fan and loved visiting Gatlinburg. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially the little ones.
Services will be Saturday, June 9 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Anniston. Visitation will be from 2 to 4pm with the service following at 4pm.
