John Alfaro

John Alfaro of Holland, MI passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 surrounded by family. He was a very knowledgeable man who loved his family. He enjoyed gardening and took great pride in his yard. He loved to read and complete puzzles. Later in life he enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and scratch off tickets.

John leaves behind his wife; Natalia of 64 years, daughter; Carmen Martinez, sons; Ricardo Alfaro (Texas), Alejandro (Nora) Alfaro, Nicholas (Esperanza) Alfaro, David Alfaro, Jose (Lidia) Alfaro, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grand-daughters, brothers; Rito Alfaro Jr., Jose Alfaro, Lorenzo (Marissa) Alfaro, Lad (Wanda) Alfaro, sisters; Virginia McClard, Celia Alfaro, Mary Mar, Emilia Alfaro as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 16 from 11-12pm at Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street, Holland, Michigan, with visitation one hour prior. There will be a visitation held on Friday, June 15 from 6-9pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland, MI.
