Doris L. Modena

Modena, Doris L., 78, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday June 22, 2018 in Wichita. Doris was born the daughter of Ernest and Doris (Igou) Powers on November 15, 1939 in Joplin, Missouri. She retired from Kollsman in Wichita after 35 years. She enjoyed crocheting, Diamond Arts, doll making and traveling, she traveled 45 states. Doris was a loving mother of 3, grandmother of 3, great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of 2. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jody E. Rowan, brother, Thomas Powers. Survivors include her loving daughter, Erin Gehrer, son Lonny Rowan, sisters, Wendy Powers, Judith Powers, brother, Larry Powers, grandchildren, Amanda Baez, Clayton Taylor, Bobby Taylor. A graveside celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 30, 2018 at Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita.
