Bobbie Lou Baker, 83 of Van Buren, formerly of Ft. Smith passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Van Buren. She was born November 27, 1934 in Mulberry to the late John and Othie Ross. She was employed by Dixie Cup prior to staying home to raise her family. She later worked as a biscuit maker for Hardees Restaurant until her retirement. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Baker and her sister, Dorothy Broadnax.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
Bobbie is survived by two sons; Mike Baker and his wife Lori of Greenbrier and Andy and his wife Monica of Ft. Smith, her 10 Grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters; Lee Chadwick, Betty Jean Lovette and her husband Bill, Jerri and her husband James Holt, Ann and her husband Bob Bahil and one brother, John Ross and his wife Judy.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
