Michael was born January 5, 1976 in Boston, MA and moved to Bourne in February 1976. He grew up with many cherished lifelong friends in the Taylors Point neighborhood of Buzzards Bay and graduated from Bourne High School in 1994. He attended Berkshire Community College briefly before being awarded an apprenticeship with the IBEW Local 104. Michael completed his apprenticeship in 1998 and worked his adult years as a lineman for the union. He had resided in Plymouth, MA since 1999.
He is survived by his mother and father, Thomas M. Ford and Anne M. (Barbour) Ford, his brother, Thomas M. Ford Jr. and fiancé Trisha Crouch Phillips of Cumming, GA, his aunt Tammy Citraro Ford, niece Kealy Ford, and nephews Liam and Camden Ford, all of Cumming, GA. Michael is also survived by his brother Dennis B. Ford and his wife Rebecca Palladino Ford, and their children, Isabella and Gabriella Ford of Sudbury MA, as well as his brother Brian M. Ford and wife Kimberly Poe Ford, with their children, Taylor and Conor, of North Attleboro, MA.
Michael is also lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Kimberly Zachary-Reiss, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may call at the Nickerson, Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA from 4pm to 7pm on Monday July 9, 2018.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 10, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset, MA followed by burial at Oakland Grove Cemetery, Shore Road, Bourne, MA.
