Virginia Keith Reed

Virginia Keith Reed, age 79, of Munford, TN, passed from this life Friday, July 6, 2018 at her home. She was born May 8, 1939 in Independence, MS to the late J. W. and Betsy Ross Young. In 1964 she married the love of her life, Billy Harold Reed, Sr. She was a homemaker and a foster parent for over a hundred kids. Along with her husband she is survived by a son; Billy Harold Reed, Jr., a granddaughter; Valerie Lauren Reed, sisters; Robbie Johnson, Floy Dyer, Dorothy Henry, Sue Childers, Ruby Tristan, Gladys Lee and a large extended family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings; Shirley May Dykeman, Bessie Alice Lee, Margaret Grace Gray, Leonard Young and John Young. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 5pm -8pm at Brantley Funeral Home. A service of celebration for Mrs. Reeds life will be 10am Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the Brantley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Eavenson - Bett Cemetery.
