Barbara Jean Ramsey Fent, 86 of Ft. Smith, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She was born March 19, 1932 in Sudan, TX to the late Leland and Alta Ramsey. She was a local artist working with the Ft. Smith Art Center. Her other interests included being an avid reader, genealogy research and sailing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, H. Donald Fent and her brother Donald Ramsey.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Ft. Smith.
Barbara is survived by her three daughters; Cynthia Eisen and her husband Giora of Delaware, Jayme Tucker and her husband Daniel of Muldrow, OK and Laurie O’Hare of Ft. Smith, her six grandchildren; Gabriella Fahrer, Sivan Perdue, Talia Eisen, Jessica Michael, Shane Szczerba and Ezekiel Payne, as well as her 11 Great Grandchildren.
