Still love you R-Dub!! Think about you often. 

We covered a lot of ground over the past 17 years—from the first time we met on the platform at the Millburn station—discussing what music I was listening to, which led to an immediate friendship kindled by the Grateful Dead—to our last adventures (schlepping that beast of a grill to my home and seeing Bobby and Phil this March).  You were always there for me, so thank you. (I hope I was there for you, during the good times and the not-so-good ones.)

I can only say that I'm a better person for having known you. I'll miss you and won't forget you.


Like David Alexander mentioned at the Memorial Service, I too was fortunate enough to have met Wells as part of the Indian Guides program -the Mini Minsi Tribe.  I can only say he was an amazing guy.  Huge smile, so friendly, loved his hugs and just always upbeat and positive.  I so enjoyed spending time with Wells at meetings and our weekends away (and later on bumping into him around town).  I will always rememer him in his red visit with a huge smile and thus his Minsi name of Smiling Bear will live on forever.  He will be missed - love you Wells!

Wells was a very positive guy that I had the good fortune to play golf with at the Millburn and Summit 9 hole courses. I wished we could have spent more time together - he told me about his kids and I would run into him on the train once in a while coming home from New York - Happy, laughing, smiling is how I remember him. Thanks for being in my life brother!

My heart is heavy with the news of your death. You were a lovely and kind man. I always enjoyed our interactions on the 34th floor of the Time & Life Building. RIP.

We were Little League parents together  for years.  Wells was always smiling and always cheerful.  What a wonderful, warm  guy.    We are just so sad to hear of his passing. Sending so much love and hugs to the entire family.

We will always remember Wells riding his bike around Taylor Park  and the high school on the 4th of July-delivering change to everyone and being in so many places at once. Always smiling and ready to help.

Wells, you will be missed and I'll always remember the good times and funny moments we shared my man. It was an honor and privilege to be your friend. I will continue the tradition of taking the boys to dive places with great food where we can overeat and then diet afterwards. RIP my friend.
