Lula Mae Pauline Daigle Pipsair, 84, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Lula Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing pokeno and bingo and was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 64 ½ years, Chester Pipsair; children, Keith Pipsair and Karen Breaux (Elliott); four grandchildren, Kami Hue (Kevin), Matthew Pipsair (Tara), Chet Breaux (Ashley), Tiffani Dipuma (Nick); four great grandchildren, Lane Breaux, Maverick Pipsair, Sam Hue and Samantha White; one brother, Jerry Daigle (Lucy); one sister-in-law, Mazie Giroir and two brother-in-law’s, Robert Pipsair Jr. (Ruby) and Joseph Pipsair (Laura Nell). She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Esma Daigle; In-laws, Robert Sr. and Philomine Pipsair; three brothers, Lester Daigle (Carrie), Fred Daigle (Rita) and Floyd Daigle (Winnie) six sisters, Winnie Breaux (Ulysse), Anite Breaux (Clinis), Lorraine Daigle (Kelly), Carrie Ponville (Medward), Eunice Freize (David) and Violet Richard (Melvin); daughter-in-law, Wanda Pipsair; brother and sister-in-law’s, John Pipsair (Lucy) and Percy Pipsair (LouAnna) and Alex Giroir. The family would like to thank their loving and compassionate caregivers, Lillie Tunson, Betty Thomas, Jennipher Ryle, Lesa Washington, Sharon Hartman, Rachel Richard, Barbara Aucoin and Bonnie Cavalier, Dr. Charles Bolotte, Dr. Haight, Journey Hospice, Bayou Home Health, Thibodeaux Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Acadian Ambulance and Ourso Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 12pm. Interment to follow in church Mausoleum.
