Richard Durwood Barnhill, age 75, of Greensview Drive, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Duke Raleigh Hospital.

Born in Greenville, NC he was a son of the late Jay and Ethel Barnhill.

Surviving are his partner of 37 years, Carol Knott Jackson; children, Stephanie Sykes and her husband, Neil, R. Todd Barnhill and his wife, Angie, Shannon McCraw and her husband, Mike, Sabrenna Jolly and her husband, Ken, Shawn Barnhill, Tanner Jackson; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Billy; and sisters, Becky and Carolyn.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
