Norman Elliott Simmons, age 33, of Shallotte passed away on Thursday July 6, 2018 following his courageous battle with Diabetes.

He was born in Wilmington, NC on July 30, 1984 the son of Tina Moore Lewis of Girdwood, Alaska and the late Norman Jesse Simmons and was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jesse Oliver Simmons and James Arden Moore.

Elliott loved life, he will be greatly missed and he will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his brother, Jarrett Reed Simmons of Chadbourn, NC; paternal grandmother, JoAnn Bellamy Simmons of Ash; maternal grandmother, Linda Moore Aycock of West Jefferson, NC; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Elliott’s life will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday July 13, 2018 at White Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, 3660 Express Drive Shallotte.
