Evelyn was born and raised in Taunton, MA, moving to Centerville in 1956. Evelyn worked for the King's Department store for many years as the jewelry buyer/manager until the store's closing.
Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, Clyde A. Rose, Centerville, MA; sisters, Mildred McLintock, Taunton, MA, Bernice Higgins, Torrence, CA and her brother Joseph Howell, Warren, Ohio.
Evelyn is survived by her son, William J. Rose of Centerville, MA and grandson Christopher J. Rose. Evelyn also leaves behind several nephews, nieces and many caring friends.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial donation may be made to the Barnstable Senior Center, 825 Falmouth Road, Hyannis, MA 02601.
