He worked many years for the W.L. Cotton Gems and Minerals Company in the oilfield, lease operator business. Donato was in charge of setting up and maintaining all the production connections to the oil tanks and gas pipelines and for getting products to market. He was well suited for the job due to his experience obtained in the industry. He was a highly respected supervisor to several employees that worked along side him. Donato was a hard worker who was regarded highly by Mr. Cotton and his coworkers. He will always be remember for this friendly smile and great demeanor.
May he rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ella V. Garcia and siblings, Modesto Garcia, Cira Garcia, Jesus Garcia, and Erasmo Garcia. Donato is survived by his sisters, Lupita (Erasmo) Guerrero, Elva (Ignacio) Juarez, Candelaria (Rogelio) Hinojosa and Elda (Jose) Huerta all of Hebbronville.
Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
