Jerry was always full of energy and willing to fix anything in his path!  He was fun and kind to all ages, sharing stories or funny events.  I enjoyed visiting/babysitting when the kids were young and finding the latest project he completed or was working on!  Rest in Peace and our condolences to the family.  The Kieffers

Jerry was a wonderful brother-in-law. I always loved to visit, partly because Jerry would plan a special day, whether at the Kennedy Space Center or a visit to St. Augustine. I was always amazed at Jerry's energy, enthusiasm and ability to do so many things. He could paint his house, inside and out, all by himself and it was perfect.  

I admired and respected the fact that when Jerry realized he could not sit around the house after he retired, he found a second career and gave it 100% plus for as long as he possibly could.  Jerry faced every challenge bravely and creatively.

Jerry was special and I will miss him. 

I remember the first day I met Uncle Jerry.  I was just a little girl.  I liked him and his family immediately, and I knew he would be good for Aunt Joan, Debby and Paul.  And he was, always.  My parents loved him so much also.  They always looked forward to spending special times with Joan and Jerry, always going to the Olive Garden (their special place).   After my Mom passed and my Dad got older, my Dad missed those times immensely.  I know that they are all together now with our other loved ones sitting on the porch of a Baker Camp cabin having a big cocktail party with lots of Italian food.  I know Grandma is fashioning her party dress, Aunt Rose is drinking a manhattan with at least 10 cherries in it, Mom and Dad are dancing, and they are welcoming Uncle Jerry to the party.  Although we will miss you terribly, we look forward to the day when we can see you again.  All my love, Kim . 

Through social activities in the Central Brevard Newcomers' Club that were attended by Jerry and Joan, I got to know a little about Jerry.   Everything I ever heard about him was always positive.   And through my observations, Jerry was always a true gentleman who loved his family.   

I have fond memories of Jerry as my first cousin and brother-in-law.  I remember him as a person of integrity and honor, hard worker, good Catholic (we went on a three-day spiritual retreat together), a kind character, good father, and a gentleman.  My heart goes out to Jerry's family and I empathize with his siblings for the loss of their brother.

All my sympathy to Joan and family in the loss of Jerry.  Being a good friend to Joan I remember many things about them particularly that Joan would never schedule anything on Wednesdays as that was her date night with Jerry!  Such love & loyalty!

Worked with Jerry at Kennedy Space Center. Mostly on the Shuttle Launch Experience simulator.  He really enjoyed interacting with the guests and always had a cheerful smile.  I am retired Royal Navy and we used to enjoy joking with each other about our military experiences.  All his co-workers will miss him and I am thankful to have spent many enjoyable days in his company.  My thoughts go out to all his family at this sad time

Jerry was a great husband, father,  and good friend.  We are blessed that we knew him.
Joan and family, we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.  We know that Jerry  is with God now and is at peace.

I didn't know Jerry well, but kept up with his shenanigans through Joan.  She would talk of his love of work, his get-up-and-go and his love of people. I loved her talking about their date nights. Every Wednesday for 40 years it was just the 2 of them on a date.  It didn't have to be anything special as to what they did or where they went but it was very special that they spent this quality time together  When he was unable to get out anymore, they sat around the kitchen table and talked for hours  How nice they could do this after 40 years of marriage!

Joan, you are just as strong as Jerry was  You never left his side and tended to his every need with a smile and a tender word. I just know it because that is you.  A ton of us look forward to you returning to bridge, when you can  - I'll give you some refresher hands! - and to girl lunches.  Jerry is in peace now and I wish the same peace for you, Joan.  Love to you and Debby and the family

When Jerry took over as Store Manager at the Melbourne Computer City it took us a little while to get used to each other's ... styles.   Now I only remember him as being a great boss who put his trust in me and championed me for the all the time I worked at his store,  then cheered me on when it came time for me to move on to another career field.  
To Jerry - my "store dad" - I wish you eternal peace. 

When I moved to Melbourne FL Jerry was the one who hired me at the then Computer City.  He helped me move up the ranks and always had faith in humanity.  I will miss him very much.  And Joan,you know he is God's house now and  for ever.

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Mr. Jerry he was an amazing man to work with always upbeat, hard working, always had a story to tell us or words of wisdom and a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his Kennedy Space Center family. My deepest condolences to his family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Jerry was a very sweet little old man. I worked with him a few times and it was always a pleasure (Even though I was with the photo company).I struggle holding conversations but it was never a struggle with him. So easy to talk to. He encouraged me to do my best . I remember being new at work and I struggled getting photos. He'd kinda make a game out of it and challenged me like "I bet you can get 10 or so this show" I became less stressed and I did get better.I enjoyed his presence. Always a joy and a very very hard worker. Despite his struggles he never showed them. He was one of the hardest workers. He left way too soon and he'll be missed dearly by all of us. Love and miss you Jerry 💙
