Mary Louise Larson, 75, of Kingsport, TN, was taken by God’s hands and led home on Thursday (July 26, 2018). Mary was born on September 19, 1942 in Hanover, WV to the late Tom & Flossie (Trent) Cline of Gilbert, WV. Mary married the love of her life on January 16, 1965, and after 53 years of a wonderful marriage and building a family, her husband, Gary survives.
Mary was a God loving and God fearing woman of faith that attended First Assembly of God in Kingsport. She was an avid reader and movie watcher. She was sassy, tough, and loved to laugh. Mary was the most loving, caring, and giving person her family has ever known; she will be sorely missed.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by six brothers, Kiether, Richard, Jimmy, Tommy, Bobby and infant brother Weaver Cline; and three brother-in-law’s, Johnny Lee, Vince Tomasini, and Bucky Belcher.
Left to cherish her memories are her beloved husband, Gary Lee Larson; two daughters, Teri Hall & husband Mike, and Sheri McDermott & husband Kevin; five grandchildren, Caitlin McDermott, Mary Grace McDermott, Liam McDermott, Taylor Hall, and Juliana Hall; three sisters, Frances “Sissy” Tomasini, Brytha Lee, and Jean Belcher; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday (July 31, 2018) from 11 am to 1 pm at First Assembly of God (2213 Brandon Lane Kingsport, TN 37660). Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Paul Wright officiating.
Committal services will be held Tuesday (July 31, 2018) at 2:30 pm in the Garden of Apostles at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin McDermott, Liam McDermott, Mike Hall, Taylor Hall, Bobby Sanders, and Neal Cline.
