John W. Moore

John W. Moore, 92, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2018. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Alta Culbertson; son, Kip Moore; parents, Jessie and Charles Moore; sister, Dona Moore; and grandson Jacob Moore. Survived by children, Kerry (Brian) Miller, Kent (Dianne) Moore, and Kelly (Glenda) Moore; grandchildren, Sean Miller, Alyssa (Doug) Jendrasheske, Joshua Moore, and Jennifer (Eric) Gufstason; 15 great grandchildren; granddaughter-in-law, Melinda Moore; special friend, Donna Samuelson. John was a WWII Veteran that was stationed at Pueblo Army Air Base. He graduated from Stockton High School. What he lacked in formal education and material wealth he made up for in friendliness, faith, loyalty, love for others, and patriotism. He retired from CF&I after 36 years of working. He was also a member of the National Society of Washington Family Descendants. Funeral Service is at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Family Worship Center. Interment at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
