Otis Gilmore Workman Jr.

Otis Gilmore Workman, Jr., born April 29, 1931, passed away on July 29, 2018 in Irvine, California at the age of 87. Otis was born to Otis Gilmore Workman, Sr., and Christine Carter Workman in Van Wyck, South Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Florence Ann Jackson Workman of Irvine, California, his daughter Janice Cutri and husband Mark, his son Mark, his Granddaughter Melissa Viramontes and husband Manny, and his great grandchildren Audrey, Leila and Sam Heffern. Otis graduated from Clemson University in 1953 with a degree in Civil Engineering, served in the United States Army from 1953-1955, and worked in Civil Engineering for Boeing McDonnell Douglas for over 38 years. Otis was a bright spirit, with a sense of humor that you’d have to experience to fully appreciate. All that were close to him knew him as Pop Pop. Pop Pop, you were loved and will be missed more than words can ever express. A Graveside Service is planned for Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Corona Del Mar at Pacific View Memorial Park & Mortuary for close family and friends.
