Mary Ann Carmean, born January 7, 1934 in Limestone County, Texas died August 4, 2018. She was the wife of Richard P. Carmean and the daughter of Albert Sidney Butler and Annie Belle Spruill Butler. She is survived by her three children, Johnnie Bruce Scott III, Lesa Womack, and Barry Alan Scott, step children, Michael D. Carmean, Kathleen Wootton, Patrick Carmean, and Candace Blocher. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and several great and step-great grandchildren, cousins, and dear friends.
Mary Ann was on the first Board of Directors for Home Interiors and Gifts. Inc. in Dallas. She was the manager for the Hurst-Euless Bedford Chamber of Commerce until she became a licensed realtor. She sold real estate in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. She and her husband also owned and operated an automobile dealership in New Mexico.
Mary Ann and her husband Richard returned to Fort Worth, Texas in 2005 upon their retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Annie, her husband Richard, her brothers, Clarence and Morris Butler, sister Sibyl E. Robertson, and nephews Gene and Donald Butler.
A Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel, 5925 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034. Burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service starting at 11:30 am in the chapel.
