I worked with John checking torque at the St. Paul Ford Assembly for a few years.  I think everyone in the torque room considered him our leader.  I know I did.  Although everyone was their own boss.  John was one I looked to and tried to follow his example.  He never acted like he was leading but I think everyone knew and respected him and his work ethic and example.  He was always calm,humble, welcoming and friendly.  A true friend you knew instinctively you could count on.  He never seemed to busy for anyone and always there to help with anything.  He always had good advice and answers to any question you had.  I am glad to have been able to spend some time with him.  He will be remembered fondly.

I have a wonderful memory of John & Marilyn & me visiting Hubert Vannetter in Arkansas several years ago. We had a fantastic time together. I really liked him & thought he was a great guy.  We did go on to become facebook friends later.  God bless you John RIP!

I remember seeing Uncle Jack for the first time after the loss of my dad, ( his brother), Gene. He looked so much like him it was scary and comforting at the same time. I don’t know if it made him uncomfortable for me to stare because he never said it did. But he was very comforting in acknowledging our loss and offered his love and support even though he was grieving the loss of his own. I will miss him terribly. My love and support go out to his family. Rest In Peace, Uncle Jack.
