Lemuel R. Myers

Lemuel R. Myers, age 76 passed away on Sunday August 12, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Lemuel was born March 4, 1942 in Waterloo, New York to late Favorite L. Porter and Reginald H. Myers.

Lemuel served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years from 1961 to 1969, serving with special assignment in Alaska. Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he attend seminar and ordained a Baptist Minister. His ministry as a Pastor took him to serve many churches and including several in the Schuyler County area.

Lemuel is survived by his wife, Velma Marie Pratt-Myers; daughter Lisa (Stephen) Shanks; sister Faye (Norm) Bower, and special friend, Linda Mizerak.

A service of remembrance will be held at the convenience of his family.
