Gloria Elizabeth Mahoney

Gloria Elizabeth Mahoney, 77, of Oak Ridge, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2018. Gloria was born in Jersey City, and was a resident of Oak Ridge. She was a 1959 graduate of Lyndhurst High School and a 1961 graduate of the Clara Maass School of Nursing in Belleville, New Jersey. Gloria truly enjoyed her 50-year career in nursing that included working at Passaic General Hospital, Sparta Medical Associates and Skylands Medical. She was a member of the Milton First Aid Squad and the Sparta United Methodist Church. Gloria is predeceased in life by her beloved husband John J. Mahoney who passed in 2016. She is survived by her loving children: Allison Sidoli and her husband Richard of Byram Township, Sharon Grella and her husband Fred of Rockaway Township, sister of Glenn Sumpman of Wantage, sister-in-law of Stephanie Sumpman of Wantage, beloved grandmother of Erica Linnea and Derrick John Sidoli. Gloria is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to celebrate her life from 4-6pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, New Jersey 07871. A funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday at the Sparta United Methodist Church, 71 South Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ 07871.
