Teresa Denise Williams

Teresa Denise Williams (Mitchell), 62, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 8, 2018 after a long illness. Teresa was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, family member and friend to many people in her 62 years of life.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Ethington and Sewell Mitchell; Her sisters, Donna Beckfield (Mitchell), Carmen King (Mitchell); father in law Owen B Williams III, mother in law Joyce Williams

Teresa is survived by her husband of 23 years, Owen B. Williams IV; her two sons, Daniel Mitchell Whittington and Curry Carlton Whatley; step-daughter, Debora Stephens (Whittington); grandchildren, Dawson Teague Whittington, Wyatt Dallas Whittington, Kierstin Whatley, Abby Whatley; brothers Robert and Sim Mitchell; sister and brother in law, Robin and Keith Broughton; Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and many other loving Family Members, Friends and past Co-Workers.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel and Saturday, September 15 at 1:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 2:00pm with Rev. Mike Cobb officiating. Teresa will then be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
