Nolan Dean Black

Nolan Dean Black died on September 9, 2018 at St. Martin’s in the Pines, Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John Noel Black and Lucy Gilbert Black, and his wife of 69 years, Jewel Hunter Black. He is survived by his sister Kathryn B. Douglas and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Black was a WW II veteran, Mason, Shriner, and retired from the Alabama Power Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church Satsuma for over sixty years.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 12 at 11:00 a.m. Mobile Memorial Gardens with Radney Funeral Home of Mobile officiating. Burial will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home.
